What size skip bin do I need?
The most common mistake is going one size too small. A bin that is full on day two costs you a second delivery, and that is always dearer than going a size up in the first place.

Go up a size if…
- You are clearing a whole house rather than one room
- There is furniture or mattresses going in
- You are mid-renovation and more will turn up
- Two or more trades are using the same bin
- You are guessing between two sizes
Watch the weight, not the volume
Volume fills up first with timber, furniture and general household waste. Weight fills up first with concrete, brick, soil and tiles. If you are throwing out heavy material, a smaller bin with a higher rating is usually the better buy. Ring us and we will sort it out rather than you guessing.
